Laboratory Supervisor jobs in Provo, UT

Male Fertility and Peyronie’s Clinic is looking for a PhD with a scientific background who would be interested in serving several roles within our companies.

Description:

(All roles would receive on the job training except for scientific manuscript writing)

· Serve as a lab director for a small, limited laboratory (on the job training provided):

· Involves processing semen specimen

· Cryopreservation of sperm

· Collecting and analyzing data

· Ensuring compliance with CLIA standards and certifications

· Genetic testing

· Ability to follow strict protocols

· Communicating with other offices to help arrange shipping transportation of cryopreserved specimen

· Serving as a supervisor for surgical assistants (arranging calendars and assignments)

· Scientific manuscript writing and publishing:

· IRB submissions

· Scientific journal submissions

· Grant applications

· Pay: $90,000/year percentage of grants/awards received

· Full-time position

· 4 weeks/year PTO

· Paid trip days for presentations at meetings (all costs reimbursed) if applicable

Qualifications:

· PhD in a scientific field

· History of scientific publications (first author)

· Strong communication skills both verbal and written
