Job Summary
Responsibilities Assist faculty in developing and supervising lab exercises for students
Install, maintain, and repair lab equipment for Engineering Technology programs
Write laboratory equipment specifications and requisitions to place orders for laboratory equipment and supplies
Maintains laboratory facilities in good working order by keeping equipment clean and reporting equipment failures
Recommends necessary repairs and supplies to the department chair
Adjust, calibrate and operate lab equipment
Maintain accurate inventory records of equipment, supplies, and lab instructional materials
Arranges for laboratory repairs as necessary
Coordinates and instructs students in the proper use of equipment
Assist faculty in developing and supervising lab exercises for students
May supervise student workers and other staff as required
May be required to perform job related duties other than those specifically delineated in this position
Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a closely related field
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Engineering Technology or closely related field
Three (3) years of experience maintaining laboratory equipment, operating laboratory equipment, or related experience
Familiar with computer software that is currently used in the academic programs of the department
Proposed Salary
Maximum $40,700
