We are looking to add a dynamic Part Time Leasing Consultant for our company. This role requires the Leasing Consultant to have genuine enthusiasm for the position, be well spoken, present themselves in a professional manner, have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), be punctual, have great attention to detail, outstanding customer service, the ability to stay organized while multi-taking in this entry-level position that to leases apartments, townhomes, and homes to prospective residents and maintain positive relationships with existing tenants.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
· Show property and demonstrate apartment to prospective residents to close the sale.
· Adhere to qualification standards when processing applications.
· Responsible for thorough knowledge of the property, surrounding areas and competitors.
· Accurately prepare all lease related paperwork including applications, leases and resident files.
· Ensure all residents are on a lease and adhere to all lease policies.
· Provide proper information to new tenants and assist them in understanding the property guidelines and available amenities.
· Assist in the collection of rent and handling delinquent accounts following all collection policies.
· Participate in resident retention programs and assist in implementing marketing plans.
· Responsible as part of the team for inspecting the property to ensure a clean, well maintained community.
· Maintain a professional attitude at all times to create a positive environment for residents.
· Maintain courteous communications with residents, representatives of other companies, vendors, and team.
· Take initiative and provide support to managers to support the total performance of the property.
· Process work orders and follow-up as necessary to assure work was satisfactory.
· Contact residents who give notice to move to determine the reason and possibility of saving.
· Take lead on newsletter creation and other marketing requirements for the property such as: Facebook, Instagram and more.
· Work with other leasing staff to create and administer monthly and quarterly resident events.
· Experience with MS Office Products, Word, Excel, and Publisher, Property Management Software a plus.
