Madisonhealth is seeking to hire a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide support and education as a Lactation Consultant/Educator to patients. As the Lactation Consultant the incumbent will participate in prenatal education classes, telephone counseling, outpatient services, and appointments for the benefit of prospective patients and new parents.
Providing support to current staff, the incumbent will participate in in-service programs about subjects relating to lactation. Embodying Madisonhealth value of Teamwork, the Lactation Consultant will assist LDR and MBU staff by working a scheduled shift in the Units.
Education/Certifications:
Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho (compact licensures will be considered)
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) or certification in progress (employer assistance provided)
Basic Life Support (BLS), current
Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) within 6 months of hire
