Our outpatient Medical clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support, including patient registration and medical record keeping. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside medical professionals in a professional work environment. The ideal candidate will have an energetic attitude and an interest in working in the private practice of psychiatry and Family Practice. We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant who can do both Front Desk and Medical Assistant Job Duties.
Qualifications:

Responsibilities ( Not limited To)
Manage and maintain patient records, appointment information, and insurance information.
Respond to inquiries from patients, physicians, and other health care providers.
Must complete medical record documentation within agency requirements of time related to treatment plans, outcome assessments, psycho-social information, and other pertinent patient care data
He/She, in conjunction with the Patient Accounts department, provides patient information to ensure compliance with federal and state statutes
Other duties as assigned
Answering multi-line phones and responding to requests immediately
Protecting patients' rights through strong adherence of HIPPA regulations
