Land Administration Manager manages the proper receiving, recording, documentation, and dissemination of all land agreements and land contracts. Serves as a liaison to the land department and customers to ensure proper interpretation of land agreements and contracts. Being a Land Administration Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Land Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Land Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Our Rail division is looking for an Administration Manager to join their team. This person will manage the Rail division's daily financial transactions and reports as well as manages purchase order (PO) processes and procedures according to company requirements. Will administer accounting activities and monitors controls and procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manages the rail division daily financial transactions and reports.
    • Manages purchase order processes and procedures and determines PO policies according to company requirements.
    • Performs Manager on Duty functions and responsibilities.
    • Assists with the annual budget preparation and review.
    • Audits daily financial transactions and reports.
    • Responsible for the daily and monthly financial reporting.
    • Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies, objectives and applicable government laws and regulations.
    • Responsible for the employment, supervision, performance management, salary administration, discipline, and training of directly assigned personnel.

    Requirements:

    • This job normally requires a professional level of knowledge in financial accounting equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree (accounting preferred). Demonstration of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
    • This job normally requires four years of progressively responsible positions in accounting or finance.
    • Proficiency in the use of computer business applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.
    • Must pass a pre-employment background check.

    • Ability to clearly communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees, management and customers.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
    • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
