Land Administration Manager manages the proper receiving, recording, documentation, and dissemination of all land agreements and land contracts. Serves as a liaison to the land department and customers to ensure proper interpretation of land agreements and contracts. Being a Land Administration Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Land Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.   • Responsibilities:

    The Land Administration Manager will manage contracts, AR/AP, aid in RFP/bid spread and award, budgets, audit, MCM, wires, JDAs, PID/MUD reimbursements, bonds, utility agreements, obtaining all permits, and staying in compliance on all matters. The role will support the land development team with occassional help in acquisition as necessary. The role is all encompassing and requires a challenge solver who is open to new opportunities and diving in to help with anything that may arise. The role will require presenting to teams, an ability to filter items of importance and focus accordingly and a strong team mentality in which the individual builds and leverages partnerships throughout the organization to get things done.

    • Manage the budgets to deliver predictability. Build an understanding of plans, agreements, processes, etc. and reflect those findings in our business.
    • Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with officials and employees of municipalities and agencies with jurisdictional control over the Division land deals.
    • Assist with the coordinating the vetting and engagement of all consultants, including management of the RFP process, with the appropriate team members.
    • Serve as a liaison to engineers, consultants, governmental officials and other trade partners in the as needed.
    • Ensure that all corporate land development policies, internal control procedures and practices are communicated, understood and complied with.
    • Collaborate with Land Acquisition team during feasibility analysis and due diligence phase.
    • Manage all assigned finance and accounting responsibilities related to land development.
    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma is required, Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of associated homebuilding/construction industry experience or a combined 5 years of education and experience directly related to homebuilding/construction
    • Proficient in JD Edwards, E1, Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Project and Excel, accounting software
    • Ability to react and respond favorably, manage conflict and resolve problems in a professional manner
    • Team Player; and demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams
    • Analytical; with the ability to give, receive and interpret information to determine the root problem and bring issues to a successful conclusion
    • Results-oriented, accurate, with keen attention to detail
    • Self-directed; takes initiative, proactively addresses problems; can work with minimal oversight
    • Organized and flexible with the ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines, often with interruptions, changing circumstances, in a fast-paced work environment
