We are seeking a SUPERVISOR OF CLINIC ADMINISTRATION in Laurium, MI at ASPIRUS LAURIUM CLINIC. The Supervisor of Clinic Administration supervises, plans, organizes and directs patient care activities at assigned clinics working under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer. Exercises supervision over clinical staff.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice; ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patients
Ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner
Attends Clinic/Organization management meetings
Current nursing (LPN or RN) Michigan license; graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with medical staff
Skill in preparing records, writing reports and responding to correspondence
Skill in identifying problems, researching and identifying effective resolutions
Skill in anticipating and reacting calmly to emergency situations
Demonstrates leadership abilities
Moderate computer knowledge (i.e. troubleshooting)
Clinic nursing skills
Knowledge of the principles of finance and budgeting, ability to develop and manage the budget
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions, ability to establish a safe work environment
Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to supervise
Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the clinic/organization
Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
Actively participates in the clinic/organization performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
Ensures confidentiality of patients’ records
Excellent attendance record
Completes annual educational requirements
Maintains a professional appearance and acts as a positive role model to staff
Ability to maintain a positive attitude in support of management and strategic goals
