    Furry Land of Bosie ID is seeking skilled and enthusiastic Mobile Pet Groomers to join our team. We offer a unique mobile spa experience for dogs and cats, ensuring a stress-free and convenient grooming process for both pets and their owners.

    As a Mobile Pet Groomer at Furry Land, you will have the opportunity to showcase your grooming expertise while enjoying the flexibility of working on commission. We value our groomers and provide state-of-the-art vehicles and equipment along with competitive compensation.     Responsibilities:

    • Drive our state-of-the-art 2023 Mercedes Sprinter van to scheduled appointments in the Bosie ID area – equipped with the latest insulation technology to ensure you can work in comfort all year long.
    • Provide professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to customer preferences and breed standards.
    • Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by employing gentle handling techniques and positive reinforcement.
    • Conduct thorough assessments of each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall well-being, and communicate any concerns to the pet owners.
    • Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend appropriate grooming products for home care.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van, ensuring all grooming equipment and supplies are sanitized and well-maintained.
    • Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring timely arrivals and efficient use of time to maximize productivity.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, addressing concerns, and always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

    Requirements:

    • A love of animals!
    • Proven experience as a professional pet groomer, with a deep understanding of various grooming techniques, breed-specific cuts, and coat types.
    • Grooming license for any areas we service (required)
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to drive a grooming van safely and efficiently.
    • Passion for working with animals and a demonstrated ability to handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pet owners and provide outstanding customer service.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality grooming services.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet appointment schedules.
    • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours based on customer demand.
    • Certification from a reputable grooming school or a similar grooming qualification is highly desirable.
    • Must pass a criminal background check.
    • Ability to lift to 75lbs and/or heavy dogs temporarily.
