Land Administrator assists in the preparing, updating and maintaining all land documentation, land maps and lease records. Ensures all information is in compliance with all local, state and federal agencies and regulations. Being a Land Administrator requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Land Administrator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Survey Party Chief
MJ’s Fishkill office is seeking full-time Survey Personnel with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in land surveying. This position will operate as part of a two-man crew or alone utilizing a robotic total station or laser scanner.
MJ handles a wide range of project types for public and private sector clients. Duties within this position will include, but are not limited to:
· field crew oversight and management
· utility and right of way record research
· construction stakeout
· boundary survey
· topographic survey
· transportation survey
· utility survey
· Photogrammetric and mobile LIDAR control
· Ability to travel
· Valid driver's license required
· US Citizenship required
Must be knowledgeable and/or have familiarity with:
· total stations
· data collectors,
· GPS equipment and robotic instruments
· use of static laser scanners their operation and basic processing
· Microstation and/or Autocad CAD platforms
· General traverse reduction and computation.
A two-year college degree in a related field, is preferred.
Pay is based on applicant’s ability and will be rated accordingly.
