Land Administrator assists in the preparing, updating and maintaining all land documentation, land maps and lease records. Ensures all information is in compliance with all local, state and federal agencies and regulations. Being a Land Administrator requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Land Administrator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Duties include researching titles, mortgages, and leases, locate road center lines and determine right of way, prepare legal description of properties to be purchased by jurisdiction and plot metes and bounds from deed descriptions.
Requirements: Will be required to possess a Land Surveyor’s License issued by the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey.
