Job Summary:
Chastain & Associates, LLC (Chastain) has an exciting opportunity for a Land Surveyor working with public or private infrastructure projects in our Paris Office. Qualified candidates will work in a collaborative environment with our team and alongside clients from private to municipal, state, and federal jurisdictions.
Job Qualifications:- Three or more years of experience in Land Surveying.
- Licensed Land Surveyor in Illinois/ Indiana or the potential for licensure.
- Strong technical, oral and writing communication and presentation skills.
- Keen understanding of land surveying principles, budgets and marketing.
- The ability to work in a collaborative team environment is required.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide ALTA, Boundary and Topographic Surveys, Construction Layout, Platting, and related surveying services.
- Utilizing the latest Autodesk software and Trimble technology.
- Managing surveying budgets and schedules
- Providing budgets and cost estimates for new jobs
- Engaging and communicating with clients throughout projects while delivering a quality product.
