Requirements

• Assisting with and overseeing the daily selection of orders, checking for 100% accuracy, quantity, condition, etc.
• Ensuring returns are checked in properly, and breakage/waste is recorded.
• Maintaining a clean, organized warehouse to provide a good working environment and ensure peak efficiency.
• Working with the purchasing department on scheduling, daily routing of routes/pickups, etc.
• Planning, implementing, and monitoring the day-to-day operations of the warehouse department to ensure that established objectives for shipping, product rotation, quality control, sanitation, safety, and timeliness are met or exceeded.
• Delegating tasks to warehouse supervisors & drivers to be completed in a timely manner throughout the day & completing assigned responsibilities for the closing down of the building.
• Interviewing potential employees and providing training to those hired.
• Communicating with the sales, purchasing & operations teams effectively on any issues, shortages, or order miss-picks.
• Occasionally generating customer estimates/invoices.
• Assisting with deliveries and pick-ups where needed.
• Assisting in End of Month Inventory.

Experience: 

• Supervisory: 1 year
• Warehouse: 2 years

• Ability to frequently bend & lift items sometimes exceeding 100lbs. 
• Standing for long periods of time.
