Duties:
- Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner 100% of the time and never differentiate between customer that is paying for service and warranty service. Acknowledge customers who are waiting in line and let them know that they will be helped soon.
- Serve as the liaison between the Customers (collecting accurate and relevant data) and Technicians (providing each with necessary updates); ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the Technician and the needs and recommended service/repairs are understood by the Customer.
- Provide the client with an accurate estimate of repair or maintenance cost, and/or a minimal diagnostic fee with explanation of associated cost, detailing problems and pertinent information, and secure client authorization of repair or service.
- Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required, entering RO into service database system.
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle repairs
- Process payments and handle customer inquiries
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a Luxury Dealership or Sales/Service Industry is required. Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive or related industry is preferred
- Knowledge of Automotive Service Repair, Brake Repair, Diesel Engine Repair, Tire Service, Preventive Maintenance, Electrical Vehicles and Suspension Systems is required
- Great attitude with a high-energy, out-going personality with experience in developing relationships
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Can work in a fast-paced environment, organized and can manage time efficiently.
