Land Surveyors Manager manages and coordinates surveys and investigations of land surfaces. Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements including boundary calculations and legal issues. Being a Land Surveyors Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Land Surveyors Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. The Land Surveyors Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Land Surveyors Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Summary : The individual in this job will already be proficient in other title assistant positions within the department.

    The Title Officer Assistant will provide direct support for one or more title officers. This includes conducting research, preparing recordings, and handling various tasks as assigned by the title officer(s).

    This position may also responsible for the maintenance and issuance several low-risk title insurance products.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    The individual in this position must possess good organizational skills; be able to type 65 or more words per minute with a high degree of accuracy;

    utilize 10-key by-touch; have the ability to communicate well with customers to obtain additional information.

    • Conduct land / name searches in the Company’s title plant.
    • Produce and maintain low-risk title insurance products, including but not limited to, various reports and guarantees, and junior loan policies.
    • Review documents for recording at the county courthouse.
    • Prepare policy write-ups prior to issuing policies and handle post-policy requests.
    • Conduct file updates and oversees the delivery thereof.
    • Handles requests as assigned by the title officers or department team leader.
    • Provides phone coverage for title officers.

    • High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Ability to effectively present information to top management and co-workers.

    • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Proficient use of Ultima,Word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, Order processing, windows, micro-film real machines and fax machines.
