    WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
    We seek to add a key player required for the success of our corporate team. This person will reside in Utah and work at our Corporate Office in Pleasant Grove, Utah, but will oversee our California operations division. We need someone who can provide leadership, direction, and knowledge to our field managers and execute a results-driven operation that achieves corporate goals.

    SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED BY THE ABILITY TO:
    Liaise with US Forest Service or utility company Permit Administrator to establish an open channel of communication and develop an effective working relationship.
    Ensure operations manuals are up-to-date and complete, including procedures for:
    • Opening and closing facilities
    • Business protocols
    • Water testing
    • Emergency situations
    • Vehicle maintenance
    • General operations
    Propose, develop, manage, and complete construction and renovation projects.
    Apply scoping for large projects, managing to project timelines through use of deadlines, and communicating to senior management on status, and process/project changes.
    Identify risks and propose solutions to avoid injury or mitigate damage and loss.
    Operate service areas within established labor and operational budgets
    Complete all reporting requirements by due dates.
    Partner with Human Resources to fill all staff vacancies
    Build effective field management teams and invest in their success by:
    Ensuring all field management and staff are effectively trained and that educational Safety Meetings are held monthly.

    Hold regularly scheduled site visits to Manage by Walk Around, thus:
    • -Developing effective interpersonal relationships with field District Managers and their staff
    • -Growing a sense of ownership over assigned field locations.
    • -Increasing site knowledge and situational awareness
    • -Providing opportunities to praise, give instruction, provide support, and work alongside team members.
    • -Be a resource for the field District Managers, and assist their operations to flow smoothly and resolve issues that arise.
    Research and write bids for potential new business permits

    TRAVEL:
    Willingness to travel 25-50% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days. Travel will be between California and Utah.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Education:
    • Bachelors Degree Required.
    Work Experience Requirements:
    • 2 years minimum experience in either Operations Management, Project Management, Program Management, Facilities Management or Contract Management.
    • 3 years minimum experience with Team Leadership
    Must Possess:
    • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
    • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
    • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage project budgets effectively.
    • Proven ability to manage risks and make sound decisions under pressure.
