Land Surveyors Manager manages and coordinates surveys and investigations of land surfaces. Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements including boundary calculations and legal issues. Being a Land Surveyors Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Land Surveyors Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. The Land Surveyors Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. - Preferred A.A.S. in Surveying Technology or B.S. in Surveying Engineering
- New York State Professional Land Surveyor license preferred
- Minimum of five years' experience as a Land Surveyor/Project Manager
- Strong technical skill set, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
- Must demonstrate versatility and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
