Land Surveyors Manager manages and coordinates surveys and investigations of land surfaces. Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements including boundary calculations and legal issues. Being a Land Surveyors Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Land Surveyors Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. The Land Surveyors Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Our Prairie du Chien, WI office is now hiring for a Land Surveyor. The Land Surveyor position focuses on topographic surveying, boundary surveying and construction staking.
Main Responsibilities Include:- Complete Topographic surveys with detail sufficient for use in the development of Civil Engineering drawings and various boundary surveys
- Perform staking computations and construction staking on site development and municipal engineering projects
- Perform QA/QC on final documents
- Assist with budgeting and scheduling for surveying activities
- Other surveying activities as required in support of Civil Engineering projects
