Land Surveyors Supervisor supervises a staff who surveys and investigates land surfaces to project precise measurement and location of lines, angles, points, areas, and elevations. Ensures the staff performs project research, boundary calculations, and records accuracy of survey data, notes, and sketches. Being a Land Surveyors Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Land Surveyors Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. Survey Technician should have extensive knowledge/ experience in the Land Surveying field. Experience with Trimble / Spectra equipment is a plus. Experience with AutoCAD or equivalent is a plus. This position will assist with or conduct field surveys including, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking. Ideal applicant would be able to pre-calculate and process field data. Must be able to hike long distances while carrying 30-50 lbs unassisted. Basic customer service skills required. Valid AZ drivers license and ability pass E-Verify check required.
