Position Summary

The Bar Supervisor will be responsible for creating and updating seasonal specialty cocktail lists, wine ordering and WBG lists. The positions will stock the Main bar, Turn bar and Pool bar. Will also be responsible for monthly inventories, ordering products for special events and golf member events, as well as bar set ups and supervision. This is a Tuesday through Saturday position that includes lounge service, tips and tip share. Some hours will be expected during golf member events, special events, and occasionally off-site events.

Essential Functions

• Maintains inventory.
• Creates drink menus.
• Ensures bar is well-stocked and clean.
• Tracks customer behavior and sales.
• Maintains budget and monitors costs.
• Maintains drink recipe documentation.
• Oversees planning for special events.
• Selects and purchases liquor and other supplies.
• Initiates and maintains vendor relationships.
• Uses point-of-sale tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bartender’s license.
• Prior experience working in a private club, bar, or restaurant.
• Supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree or higher in hotel and restaurant management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Canva and POS systems.
• TABC server permit.
