Landscape Architect assists in the development of exterior spaces and physical environments. Aids in preparing overview of final project design drawings and specifications. Being a Landscape Architect requires a bachelor's degree in related field. Typically reports to a Landscape Architect Manager. Duties:
- Perform various landscaping tasks such as tree trimming, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and tree care.
- Operate and maintain mechanical equipment used in landscaping.
- Use hand tools to perform tasks such as planting, pruning, and weeding.
- Assist with the installation of landscape features such as irrigation systems and outdoor lighting.
- Dig trenches and prepare soil for planting.
- Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and chainsaws.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic landscape maintenance techniques.
- Ability to operate and maintain mechanical equipment used in landscaping.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in gardening and landscaping.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
Must Have Valid Drivers License
