Overview~
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team in Pendleton. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
REQUIREMENTS~
-Minimum 18 yrs of age
-Valid Oregon Drivers License
-NO DUII's, Infractions
-Employer will do pre-employment background screening
-Communicate with written and verbal instructions in English.
-Work in extreme heat or cold, work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities that could be asked of you~
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees according to landscape plans
- Assist with the installation of irrigation systems
- Prune and trim trees and shrubs to maintain their health and appearance
- Operate equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools
- Remove debris and maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas
- Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
-Unload and spread gravel using shovel and wheelbarrow.
-Assist with construction of sprinkler systems, block walls, and fences.
-Perform variety of other general landscaping and laborer duties as assigned.
-May be asked to help assist with lawn maintenance accounts.
-Work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical functions including moving/maneuvering items weighing up to 50-75 lbs.
