Position: Landscape Architect

Location: Wenatchee, Washington

Job Description:

As a Landscape Architect at Complete Design, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing, planning, and designing outdoor environments that enhance the quality of life and contribute to the vitality of urban and rural areas. Working collaboratively with architects, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams, you will create innovative landscape solutions that integrate ecological principles, cultural contexts, and user needs. Your designs will contribute to the realization of diverse projects that inspire and connect people with their surroundings.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive landscape design concepts that align with project goals and client aspirations.
• Prepare detailed site plans, master plans, renderings, and 3D visualizations to communicate design intent effectively.
• Integrate sustainable design principles, stormwater management, and ecological considerations into landscape solutions.
• Specify plantings, hardscape materials, lighting, and site amenities that create inviting and functional outdoor spaces.
• Develop construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for landscape elements.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure design compliance and address feedback.
• Oversee and manage landscape design projects from concept to construction administration.
• Monitor project progress during implementation, conducting site visits and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect (PLA).
• Proven experience in landscape design, including site planning, planting design, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS.
• Strong understanding of ecological systems, sustainable design practices, and site analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to convey design concepts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Portfolio showcasing your landscape architecture projects, design process, and creative thinking.
• Previous experience in an architectural, engineering, or land surveying firm is a plus.
