    What and who are we looking for? We are seeking a Business Developer/Sales Leader to join our Team. You’ll be a great fit if you are passionate, motivated, and a results-driven individual! You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of our industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in sales or business development.

    Objectives:

    As the driving force behind our maintenance division's sales efforts, you'll be at the forefront of every exciting venture, from igniting initial interest to sealing the deal and seamlessly transitioning to production. Your mission? To architect and execute a dynamic marketing and sales plan that propels our maintenance division to new heights of growth and success. Working hand-in-hand with our passionate Account Managers, Operations team, and Administrative wizards, you'll lead the charge in ensuring MHA not only meets but exceeds client expectations, fuels exponential business growth, and solidifies our position as a market leader. And as if that weren't thrilling enough, you'll also be instrumental in fostering a vibrant 'Everyone Sells' culture, where every team member is empowered to contribute to our shared triumphs.

    Responsibilities:

    New Business Development!!

    Work with Owner and Leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic sales plan that includes:

    • Forecasting annual new strategic business development goals per Account Manager’s district area.
    • Regional target list of prospective clients (pipeline) by verticals (market segment) and geography.
    • New and existing client target list, headroom potential with additional market share opportunity.
    • Competitive Analysis of competitors identifying key strengths, weaknesses and market share.
    • Daily/weekly scheduling with Estimating and or Operations to ensure proper time frames and scope items are being estimated meeting customer’s expectations.
    • Generate customized solutions-based proposals and presentations that will position our company as best choice provider.
    • Organize Start Up with Administration who will be instrumental in setting up job file, contracts, job numbers, customer profile etc. Organize Start Up with Operations team, customer introduction, turnover, property walks, photos, identify ancillary sales, etc. to ensure that “Sales Promises” are communicated and handed off.
    • Follow up with clients after 30-60-90 days to insure Start Up went well and clients are happy.

    Coordinate all commercial maintenance marketing efforts including:

    • Annually forecast all networking and social events’ calendar with sponsorship levels geared toward meeting strategic sales goals.
    • Trade Organization involvement- Work with the maintenance team to ensure participation and support for local organizations that will lead to new sales. i.e. tradeshows, golf tournaments, community service projects etc.
    • Electronic Marketing- Initiate web and email campaigns that will lead to future sales. i.e. quarterly newsletters, holiday cards etc.
    • Sponsorships and Contributions-Manage all budget items that are designated for the marketing and good will of the company. i.e. lunch n learn, monthly office gift (candy, flowers) , Starbucks gift cards etc.
    • Develop and participate in Lead Sharing Peer Group with other industry companies that serve our target base.
    • Hold or attend monthly branch strategic sales meetings to communicate sales progress against YTD goal and to share success and failures as it relates to sales and client satisfaction.

    Enhancements and Client Relations:

    Attend weekly or bi-weekly operational meetings and monthly staff meetings to ensure team participation, awareness, support and ownership in the sales and client relations process in both new and existing customers.

    Requirements:
    - Proven experience in outside sales or business development, preferably in the technology industry
    - Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals
    - Familiarity with Asset or other CRM software is a plus
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    - Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships
    - Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and industry trends
