Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. The Landscape Architect Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Currently #1 Landscaping is looking to add a Landscape Architect/Designer/Project Manager to our team. The Landscape Architect/Designer/Project Manager is responsible for meeting with customers or Sales Staff, on site or at our offices, to discuss specific needs, preferences and ideas, then measuring the designated job site and creating a landscape design. The Landscape Architect/Designer/Project Manager will then construct an estimate that meets the exact specifications of the agreed upon design. Later on in the process the Landscape Architect/Designer/Project Manager will meet with the construction team at the job site before work begins, will paint lines and will fully explain the design and any customer concerns and expectations.
Background Skills & Qualifications:
The Landscape Architect/Designer/Project Manager must have a thorough knowledge of plant materials, computer aided landscape design and other landscape materials. They must have excellent drafting skills, good computer skills, good communication skills, experience in customer relations, and should be able to work unsupervised.
The Landscape Architect/Designer/Project Manager should have a valid Ohio driver’s license. They should be able to navigate rough terrain at job sites and be able to tolerate all kinds of weather conditions during site visits. The Landscape Architect/Designer/Project Manager should be able to complete drawings in a timely manner and tolerate the stress of design deadlines.
