Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. Being a Landscape Architect Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. Typically reports to a top management. The Landscape Architect Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     • Assist in the preparation of design drawings, plans, and presentations under the guidance of a senior landscape architect.
    • Conduct site visits and assist in site analysis, documenting existing conditions, and understanding site constraints.
    • Contribute to developing landscape design concepts, including site plans, planting plans, irrigation plans, and construction details.
    • Use design software and tools to create 2D and 3D visualizations to communicate design ideas effectively.
    • Collaborate with the team to research and select appropriate plant materials, hardscape elements, and sustainable design strategies.
    • Assist in preparing project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
    • Support senior landscape architects in coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in landscape architecture through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution,or a related discipline.
    • Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles, design processes, and sustainable design practices.
    • Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and ArcGIS Pro.
    • Excellent graphic, hand graphic, and visual communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and concepts.
    • Knowledge of plant materials, horticulture, and basic construction techniques.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior landscape architects.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Passion for landscape architecture and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
