Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. The Landscape Architect Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.     Position Overview:
    The Grounds Maintenance Account Manager is an exempt position that manages all duties and responsibilities associated with the operations of commercial accounts and landscape crews. The individual is to provide leadership and initiative to ensure services are complete client expectations are met or exceeded. This is a working position.  Enforces all safety rules and completes regular training to stay within regulatory compliance. Beyond your managerial capacity, you must demonstrate skills in project and time management, team motivation, decision making, and the use of technology.

    Qualification and Experience Requirements:
    • Minimum of 5 years of prior Commercial Grounds Maintenance customer service, management, and leadership experience, of the industry and local marketplace.
    • Scheduling, and mobilization of crews. Training, monitoring, and supervising all crews.
    • Ability to work independently to maintain customer expectations.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to interact with customers and clients to ensure needs are effectively net on time and on budget.
    • Candidates must have the ability to meet the physical demands of our work (extensive walking, bending, lifting/carrying 35 - 80 pounds, outdoor weather conditions, and the dexterity to operate mowers, blowers, and related machinery.
    • Knowledge of using a Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook along with web based applications.
    • Must possess a valid Driver's License and good driving record.
    • Ability to pass a background check to access the base.
    • Ability to pass a drug screen.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Time management and organizational skills, including punctuality for on-time attendance.

    • Use vision abilities for close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus.
    • Lift up to 50 lbs independently.
    • Push and pull equipment.

    Occasionally required to:
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 

    Noise level:
    • Moderate to loud. 

    Adverse Conditions:
    • Subject to outdoor weather conditions which may include extreme cold, extreme heat, or wet conditions.
    • Subject to exposure to animals and insects.
