Redwood Landscape is looking to hire a Landscape Foreman for their growing business. This person is someone who is known to thrive on teamwork, possess a keen attention to detail, and are dedicated to providing exceptional service. This individual has good leadership skills and a sound knowledge of pesticides and chemicals. The Landscaping Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and executing landscaping projects from conception to completion. This role involves leading a team of landscapers, ensuring the quality of work, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Some of responsibilities expected of you:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of landscaping projects, including design, installation, and maintenance.
• Lead and supervise a team of landscapers, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Communicate with management to understand the landscaping needs and ensure satisfaction with the completed projects.
• Manage project timelines ensuring completion on time and within budget.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform hands-on work in all weather conditions, including planting, trimming, sodding, and other landscaping tasks.
• Log and communicate progress of job with crew and management.

The foundational requirements you already have:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Landscape Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in landscaping or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in horticulture or landscape design is a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, and construction principles
• Proficiency in using landscaping tools and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, bilingual required
• Physical ability to perform landscaping tasks

• Salary: $21 - 24/hr depending on experience
