Landscape Architect Manager jobs in Rochester, NY
Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. Being a Landscape Architect Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. Typically reports to a top management. The Landscape Architect Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Landscape Architect Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities
- Manage a maintenance crew of 2-4, adhering to productivity goals and budget hours
- Perform a variety of landscaping tasks such as mowing, clean-up, trimming, and more
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Adhere to company's core values and follow directions diligently
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age (Required)
- US work authorization (Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Bi-Lingual (Preferred)
- At least 3 years of commercial and/or residential landscaping experience (Required)
- At least 1 year of commercial snow removal experience (Preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions (Required)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, kneel, and walk long distances (Required)
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Hilton, NY (Required)
Compensation
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
