Drost Landscape is in search of multiple interns across all departments. Spend the summer in beautiful Northern Michigan! We can offer housing, great hours, and an opportunity for hands-on experience with a leader in the industry.

Areas of Exposure:

• Project management and coordination of designs with Construction team
• Conceptual designs & sketch ideas based on knowledge of design principles
• Research and determine type and size of hardscape/landscape materials
• Prepare plans, sections, construction details to develop preferred site package
• Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design and material recommendation
• Coordination with architects, builders, and other sub consultants on design team
• Gather site inventory and confirm existing conditions

Ideal Skillset:

• Knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe Software, SketchUp, and 3D modeling
• Digital and hand graphic ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task in fast paced environment
