Qualifications
-Demonstrate experience and knowledge of survey techniques and procedures.
-Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as good judgment and organizational skills.
-Have a valid Driver’s license.
-Ability to drive/travel for long continuous hours.
-Ability to drive personal car when necessary.
-Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously.
-Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc).
-Ability to be away from home for extended periods of time.
-Must have good computer skills and be able to learn survey related software / equipment.
-Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit is preferred.
-Architecture/design background preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
-Communicate with Clients/Brokers/Landlords to schedule site visits.
-Book travel arrangements and keep records of said transactions biweekly.
-Maintain communication/relationship with Clients until project moves out of survey phase.
-Apply standard surveying techniques in the field to plan and execute field surveys.
-Broad understanding and experience for operating surveying equipment – Faro scanners, Matterport scanners, flying drones.
-Prepare field notes and draw sketches of existing site conditions when necessary.
-Accurately records field data.
-Review, download, and process field data.
-Prepare detailed job reports and discuss projects with team leads daily.
-Maintain and troubleshoot complex equipment.
-Drafting and editing of survey existing conditions using Recap, Revit and AutoCAD.
