Landscape Architect Manager supervises all related activities of a staff of landscape architects and technicians. Oversees, manages, and schedules the development of exterior spaces and physical environments, the development of schematic designs and construction details, and is ultimately responsible for final project. Being a Landscape Architect Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related field. Typically reports to a top management. The Landscape Architect Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Landscape Architect Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are looking for a Landscape Architect who is eager to be involved in our work on a wide variety of landscape architecture projects in our Spokane office.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO
    In this role, you will work on a diverse range of projects, including mixed-use, affordable housing, K-12 educational environments, overseas federal work, parks and recreation, and community-based projects. You will participate in the design process to develop conceptual, schematic, and construction documents, keep track of project budgets, and help to ensure that projects exceed our clients’ expectations. You will be involved in the design of multiple projects at various stages of development under the leadership and mentoring of the landscape architecture team leaders.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university and 8 years of experience
    • Fully licensed by a US state licensing board
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
    • Excellent verbal, graphic, and written communication skill
    • Familiarity in Revit and Sketchup
    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Experience working in LandFX and Civil 3D
    • Experience working on public projects in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
    COMPENSATION
    • $83,500 - $96,979 per year
    • Annual discretionary performance-based bonus
