Tropical Fish Husbandry Specialist
Snake River Cichlids, located by the Snake River in Southern Idaho, is the largest producer of African Cichlids in the Northwestern United States. We specialize in the breeding and selling of freshwater aquarium fish and have established a reputation for unmatched quantity and quality. We are seeking a Husbandry Specialist to support our business growth.
This cross-functional role encompasses training in multiple areas of our operation, including order fulfillment and tropical fish husbandry. As an eCommerce Fulfillment Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate, safe, and secure fulfillment of customer orders. Additionally, you will be able to learn and perform tasks such as inventory management, feeding the fish, monitoring disease, and even assisting our head breeder with spawning.
While some basic knowledge of aquariums and tropical fish is beneficial, the key to success in this role is a strong desire to learn. At Snake River Cichlids, we are committed to training and supporting our team members in their growth and expertise in aquaculture.
The position requires working indoors and outdoors in various, sometimes extreme, types of weather throughout the year and requires the ability to lift 50 pounds. Bilingual in Spanish preferred
