Responsibilities:
· Manage all aspects of a commercial landscape maintenance portfolio, including customer service ideals, enhancement sales, and quality and production expectations.
· Anticipate customer problems and concerns and take action to meet and exceed customer expectations
· Build and maintain proactive communication and positive business relationships with residential and commercial clients, property managers, HOAs and other stakeholders
· Work collaboratively with peer managers on various projects
· Manage quality control of the portfolio to include assisting with property evaluations and client meetings to assess needs and client satisfaction; troubleshoot problems when necessary
· Responsible for financial management and profitability goals of department: Interpretation and management of job cost reports, capital expenditures, and small tool budgets
· Proactively conduct property evaluations and client meetings to assess needs and client satisfaction; troubleshoot problems when necessary. Attend board meetings when requested
· Effectively manage the activities of maintenance crews of 3-5 employees; communicate with Crew Leaders on a daily basis to ensure work schedules are adhered to in a safe and efficient manner, and ensure employee time is reported accurately
· Provide supervision and develop employees through positive interactions, giving feedback and providing on-the-job training
· Coordinate associated equipment, manpower, and procure necessary materials
· Engage in on-the-job and cross-training with colleagues of other Yard-Nique divisions and departments
· Establish and maintain safety and security at jobsites for all employees and customers
Position Requirements:
· Effectively coach and manage employees on a daily basis
· Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, plant identification and irrigation techniques preferred
· Ability to build positive relationships with customers and employees at all levels in the organization
· Adaptability and sound judgment when faced with multiple competing priorities
· Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
Basic Qualifications:
AS or BS degree in Horticulture, Construction, or related field, preferred
Minimum 3-5 years related experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
