Job Description: Laundry Aide

Location: Three Rivers - 517 Erie Street S., Three Rivers, MI, 49093

The Laundry Aide is responsible for ensuring that all laundry is cleaned, folded, and distributed to the appropriate areas within the facility. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and wash laundry according to color, fabric, and type
• Dry and fold laundry, ensuring that all items are properly sorted and distributed
• Iron and press clothing as needed
• Ensure that all laundry equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
