As a Laundry Attendant at Nebo Laundry you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be responsible for processing, washing, drying, and folding laundry items efficiently. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly impact the comfort and satisfaction of our guests.
This is a Weekend position. Required shifts include: Friday 11am-4pm, Saturday 9am-400pm, Sundays 12pm-4pm. One position available.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sort and organize all incoming soiled linens, garments.
2. Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers.
3. Follow proper laundry procedures and ensure that all items are washed and treated according to care instructions.
4. Inspect clean linens and clothing to ensure they meet quality standards.
5. Fold, stack, and prepare items for distribution or storage.
6. Handle guest requests for additional or special laundry services.
7. Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
8. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
9. Comply with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
10. Collaborate with other team members to meet daily laundry goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in laundry or a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good physical stamina, as the job may involve lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills. Be able to speak and read English.
