Summary/Objective
The Laundry Manager is responsible for all aspects of Laundry Department Operations
Essential Job Duties

Organizes and directs activities in the Laundry Department through preparation of the weekly work schedule, training of personal and overall supervision of staff as well as communicating hiring needs and assisting in the hiring process.
Places orders and reviews orders placed for equipment and supplies needed for operation of Laundry assuring accuracy of orders and proper storage.
Prepares, reviews and controls departmental budget, reviewing and submitting all invoices and seeking appropriate approvals as needed if having to go out of budget parameters.
Conducts scheduled inventories and provides explanations for variances.
Issues, reviews and submits departmental preventive maintenance reports and assures all safety policy and procedures are followed.
Develops staff through training, reviews, on the spot feedback and coaching to ensure employee satisfaction and department productivity.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of related experience.
