We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by ensuring that all linens, towels, and other laundry items are handled and processed efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Laundry Operations:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Ensure that all laundry items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and presented in excellent condition.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of linens and other laundry supplies.
• Report any shortages or damaged items to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist in managing the stock of cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when reordering is necessary.

Quality Control:

• Inspect linens and other laundry items for stains, tears, or other damage before processing.
• Report any damaged or stained items to the supervisor and follow established procedures for handling such items.

Guest Service:

• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to laundry services.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean and high-quality linens to guest rooms.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations in the handling of laundry chemicals and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for the disposal of waste and the handling of soiled linens.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of proper laundry and cleaning techniques.

Pay is $16.28 per hour
