Essential Functions:- Follows written policies and procedures of the Laundry Department
- Linen sorting, washing, folding
- Observes infection control standards in the handling of linens and clothing.
- Sorts and washes soiled linens.
- Hangs or lays out garments
- Folds, counts, and stacks linen
- Presses or hand irons articles as required.
- Inspects linen for wear and tear.
- Care and use of equipment and supplies, and cleanliness of work area.
- Operates washers and dryers
- Cleans dryer lint traps.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Ability to take initiative and show good judgment.
- Ability to become familiar with the physical arrangement of the Center.
- Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team
Requirements:- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented
- Time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
