Job Summary: The Material Handler must have excellent attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and vision, good math skills, ability to work in fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Material Handler will also be responsible to inspect all components to ensure the manufactured product matches lot information sheet.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Check all components and ensure it matches lot information sheet.

· Reject and report products not meeting specifications

· Clean equipment after the end of the shift to follow all policies set in place by the company

· Notify Shipping and/or Receiving Coordinator and other personnel of production problems

· Must be able to learn problem solving techniques to benefit shipping and receiving.

· Work as team member with Shipping and Receiving Coordinator.

· Transport materials into shipping building to inside the processing area.

· Maintain a clean shaker area at all times

· Take out all cardboard to proper recycling container

· Keep shipping area clean

· Pull and pack all daily mail orders

· Pull orders for walk-ins

· Pack 500pk boxes for orders and inventory

· Communicate with management for production of needed parts

· Pull and box orders accurately

· Pull and verify drums for orders

· Communicate with the office staff for upcoming orders

· Always check quality of product before packaging

· Follow all current procedures for these duties

· Complete other tasks as assigned

Specifications/Qualifications:

· Experience – 1 year experience preferred

· Education – High School diploma or equivalent.

· Responsibility – Carry out assigned duties while observing all safety regulations.

· Complexity of duties – Attention to detail, use of good judgment.

· Supervision received – Direct oversight of Shipping/Receiving Supervisor

· Supervision exercised – None

· Working conditions – Extreme noise, heat, cold, dusty environment. Mostly indoors.

· Mental and physical demands – squatting, kneeling, bending, long periods of stand and overhead lifting

· Confidential data – Access to company intellectual property must remain confidential and cannot be reproduced.

· Travel requirements – None
