Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender sets-up and operates a conditioner machine that semi-dries and untangles flatwork. Prepares clothing articles for ironing. Being a Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender may require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Laundry and Drycleaning Machine Operator/Tender relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. We are looking for friendly, reliable people to be a part of our Walden Cleaners Customer Service Team. We are a small, local, family-owned business in our 88th year of service.
We are hiring for two different shifts. The shift will be a set shift - employees will work either the morning opening shift or the afternoon closing shift, not a flexible schedule. Applicants must be able to work one of the following shifts:
Opening Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM until 1 PM, and every other Saturday from 8:15 AM until 2:15 PM.
OR
Closing Shift: Monday through Friday, 1 PM until 6:45 PM, and every other Saturday from 8:15 AM until 2:15 PM.
Dress Code: All employees are required to dress appropriately for in-person, professional, customer service business, such as business casual or dressy casual attire, no athletic wear. Closed-toe shoes are required.
