Lawn Service Manager manages the daily activities of workers engaged in pruning trees and shrubs, cultivating lawns, and applying pesticides and other chemicals according to service contract specifications. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the unit. Being a Lawn Service Manager may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Generally manages a group of nonexempt employees. Additionally, Lawn Service Manager relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager. We are looking for a skilled Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will maintain grounds by performing a variety of tasks, including mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing, and hedge trimming with the goal of creating beautiful and well-groomed outdoor spaces for our customers.
We are looking for a hard-working, team player, who is dedicated to performing quality work in all that they do. Past experience as a lawn maintenance technician is a plus but not required; however, a positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Maintains lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, and other grounds features.
- Mows and edges lawns, using power mowers, push mowers, string trimmers, and/or edgers.
- Operates powered lawn equipment, such as mowers, weed whackers, electric clippers, and pruning saws.
- Reports any maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions or repairs to supervisor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- May move heavy objects.
- The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
- Past experienced as a lawn maintenance technician a plus, but not required. Training provided.
- Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools a plus.
- Must be able to walk long distances, comfortably lift 25 pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time.
