Lawn Service Manager manages the daily activities of workers engaged in pruning trees and shrubs, cultivating lawns, and applying pesticides and other chemicals according to service contract specifications. Develops and implements policies and procedures for the unit. Being a Lawn Service Manager may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Generally manages a group of nonexempt employees. Additionally, Lawn Service Manager relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a senior manager. EXPERIENCED AND SERIOUS CANDIDATES ONLY! START IMMEDIATELY!!! Must have experience in lawn care, w/a variety of mowers, weed trimming, tree/shrub trimming, etc., be able to operate mechanical equipment including lawn mowers, tillers, trimmers, etc., lift 50 lbs. Willing and able to work independently or with co-workers. Good customer service skills are essential. Follow established safety rules (such as no short pants, shoes applicable for job, etc.). Payday will be Friday of week following week worked. Weekend work is usually Saturday mornings only.
