Our company is looking for an experienced Lawn Technician to maintain a variety of green spaces and gardens. The ideal candidate will be highly knowledgeable about the types of plants, maintenance techniques and products necessary to successfully maintain a variety of greenspaces. We are seeking someone who is extremely detail oriented and knows how to utilize extra resources in a busy nursery.

Responsibilities:

• Mow lawns, trim hedges, and prune trees.
• Use a riding mower or hand-pushed mower to care for large lawns.
• Use a trimmer to maintain hedges and get rid of bushes.
• Use a hedge clipper to prune trees and remove branches.
• Educate customers on the proper care of trees, shrubs, and other plants.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Rake leaves from lawns during the fall months.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Overtime

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
