Job Description:

Byars Construction, a leading residential construction company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Construction Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and working alongside a team, overseeing various projects ranging from painting to bathroom and kitchen remodels, as well as additions and exterior work.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team, ensuring efficiency and quality in all assigned projects.
• Oversee and participate in a wide range of residential construction tasks including, but not limited to, painting, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels, additions, and exterior work.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and expectations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations on all job sites.
• Procure necessary materials, tools, and equipment for each project.
• Train and mentor helper, ensuring continuous skill development and adherence to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
• Provide regular updates to management on project status, challenges, and milestones.
• Ensure projects are completed within the established timelines and budget constraints.
• Uphold the company's reputation for excellence by delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in residential construction with a focus on managing small teams.
• Knowledge in painting, bathroom and kitchen remodels, additions, and exterior work.
• We currently have a group of employees with diverse experience who collaborate with each other on jobs to help others learn and also ensure the jobs are done to our standards. Knowledge and expertise in every aspect of construction is not mandatory, but a wide range of skills is a must.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and team management experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
