Lead Construction Representative jobs in Muskegon, MI

At Visscher Construction, we work on high-quality Residential homes as well as some Commercial work, start-to-finish. This includes interior and exterior projects, both new and remodel. We also focus on insurance mitigation and reconstruction projects.

We are looking to hire an additional lead carpenter that will help to implement our remodel and insurance projects.  The right candidate will have a good work ethic, show up on time, wear proper clothing, possess a set of hand tools, power tools, and must have a neat appearance.  This candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of construction experience, and will be looked to as a leader...ready to lead a job-site and coach/tech the other carpenters on site. 

The lead carpenter must have the ability to read prints, make the necessary installation decisions, apply best practices in all methods, and maintain a clean job site.  Our carpenters are required to have an eye for detail.  The ideal candidate will have good knowledge in wood properties and other carpentry materials.  They must be able to work with minimal supervision, while following all health and safety standards.

Work Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of remodeling, carpentry or framing experience.

Location: Ludington, MI and surrounding area

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (actual hours will vary by season or projects).

Compensation: Starting wages at $17 - $25 per hour plus overtime and production bonus opportunities
