Position Overview:- Ideal applicants take pride in their work, are detail-oriented, can take direction, and look to lead from their position by performing to their highest ability.
- Pay based on experience.
- Applicants with wood framing knowledge are preferred.
- Position is Full Time with room for growth.
Work Hours:- M-F start times vary depending upon the project.
- We work as early as 8 am and as late as 5 pm.
- Pay is weekly.
Preferably applicants possess general knowledge and skills/abilities in the majority of the following, while ideally specializing in at least one category:- Carpentry- Framing
- Drywall Hanging/Patching/Texture
- Tile Setting
- Laminate/Vinyl Plank Installation
- Electrical- change fixtures, outlets, switches
- Plumbing- basic faucets, drains, and shower fixtures
- Door installation
Foreman Requirements:- Must be able to be left on a job site unsupervised when Construction Manager is not onsite, complete given tasks, and assist as well as supervise team members.
- Must have at least 3 years construction experience and be of the skill level to complete the majority of core remodel tasks. This is hands on position where you will be expected to be onsite to perform remodel tasks AND INSTRUCT your crew on how to complete the assigned task.
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Must have your own basic tools - specialty tools will be made available, as needed.
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds overhead.
- Some projects will require excessive bending, lifting, and/ or carrying of materials.
- Must be able to take direction
- Desire to learn and excel
- Must speak English and have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Management experience preferred but not required. Willing to train the right candidate in the aspect of management of others. All qualified individuals must have the ability to complete tasks themselves. Applicants who are unable to demonstrate Construction competency and execution will not be considered. This is NOT a project manager and/or office role that looks for nothing more than oversight.
