Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction/Fencing Lead to join our team. As a Construction/Fencing Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction and fencing projects. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in heavy lifting, carpentry, masonry, and the use of various hand and power tools.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of construction workers and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
- Perform carpentry work including framing, installing fences, and constructing hardscapes
- Utilize masonry skills to build walls, lay bricks, or install concrete finishes
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related field
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in construction projects
- Proficient in frame carpentry techniques and concrete finishing
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively communicate with team members
