The superintendent will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and documenting all day-to-day job site activities, including daily communicating issues, events, performance, problems, and progress to the Project Manager and facilitating the most cost-effective solutions to situations that may arise. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to military installations.Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction with at least 7 of those years as a superintendent on projects similar in size and complexity in all phases of heavy commercial construction experience.
- Primarily responsible for managing subcontractors and coordinating day-to-day production and schedule adherence on the project.
- Must be on-site at all times during the performance of the assigned projects until the work is completed and accepted.
- Must have experience in hazard identification and safety compliance.
- Must be capable of interpreting a critical path schedule and construction drawings.
- Skills: Computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite software, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, problem solve, supervise, organize, blueprint reading, and schedule knowledge.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to military installations.
- The ability to travel with possible short-term relocation, as required.
