Position : Motor Grader Operator

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Grader Operator to join our team. The Motor Grader Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, specifically motor graders, to perform grading and leveling tasks on construction sites, roads, and other projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of grading techniques, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate motor graders to perform grading and leveling tasks on construction sites, roads, and other projects
• Understand and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure accurate grading and leveling
• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to the supervisor
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
• Monitor and maintain proper oil, fuel, and coolant levels in equipment
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety protocols and procedures
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure project deadlines are met
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating motor graders
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of grading techniques and ability to interpret project plans and specifications
• Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to operate heavy equipment with precision
• Familiarity with routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to operate heavy equipment and lift up to 50 pounds
• Safety-conscious mindset

Working Conditions :

The Motor Grader Operator will primarily work on construction sites and road projects, which may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, and other environmental factors.

The operator will also be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions. This is a full-time position that may require overtime and occasional weekend work.
